REJECTED???
My dear friends, Listen. I feel like sharing something that God is personally teaching me these days. You may say, Am born again. Spiritual. God-fearing. Prayerful. But yet, I'm facing this painful thing called 'Rejection'.
Irrespective of who you are or how old you are, all of us have dealt with rejection in one form or another. Rejected socially, professionally, by friends, by loved ones, we have all been there. It is part of this world. Rejection has shaped our personalities and our character in ways many of us would probably not even admit. We all have reacted and dealt with rejection in different ways. No one in this world can escape rejection.
**Many young people are telling me nowadays just because they are not partaking in the things of this evil world they are rejected by their loving friends in colleges/schools/work places and they feel very lonely and depressed.**
Yes. I wanna talk to my praying generation. My friends do u know - Jesus, the Son of God, himself was rejected! OH!!! HOW CAN HE BE REJECTED!!
Bible says, Jesus was led by the Spirit of God to fast for 40 days. And what happened after the 40 days of being set apart?
Jesus was rejected in Nazareth!!!
This was His first conference after being led by the Spirit, His first conference after being empowered by the Spirit. He was facing controversy, questioning, and rejection! Does that mean He failed? ABSOLUTELY NOT! He was right in the will of God!
Some of us prayed, prayed specifically for some things to move in our lives and things that we didn't expect happened. Maybe your visa got rejected, or it was a job you loved or maybe it was a girl or a guy you loved or your loving friend or your family or society. You've been left with nothing but the same old temptations and the old rejections! Led by the leaders of the time and teachers of the Scriptures the people rejected Jesus. The scripture says, The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. (Psalm 118:22-23)
This verse also point to the greatest transformation in history. In Jesus God turned rejection into glory. The rejected One was raised by God to the highest place. Yes you are going to go into the highest place.
Just because we pay a price in the presence of God does not mean that a hundred things must happen. I want to be there ready and available when that one thing that God planned to happen through me! So when the rest of the 99 things that I wanted and people expected does not happen, my spirit shall not be upset but rejoice in the fact that I am still in the will of God. Therefore, my dear friends who are after the heart of God continue to seek God!
PURSUE GOD! Decide in your heart: whatever happens after that or whatever does not happen after that shall not touch my spirit! I will continue to be in the plan of God, fulfilling the destiny of God every minute no matter where I am! Remember, Rejection would one day take you to glory if you are in the center of God's will. It also means that God will do something new and He will use us as His Holy Instrument. And also He'll bless you with the Peace that only comes from our Lord Jesus Christ. Just like how God exalted His son Jesus after rejection, He is going to exalt you. You are going to be a vessel of honor to the millions. Amen!!!
